Wal-Mart Associates
SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

I'm a new Wal Mart associate and was told by one of my managers that anyone can access the company's online SOPs at any time from any computer, but I haven't been able to figure out where/how to do this when I'm not at a store computer. The OJT I'm getting (Homelines) isn't very good so I really would like to read the SOPs on my own time, since they don't want me to do it while I'm on the clock.

Does anyone know where/how to access the SOPs from a non-company computer?

You can't access SOPs from home. That is working off the clock and is forbidden. You can always access SOPs on the WIRE when you are on the ckclock. You can also access your training plan on GLMS and review any modules or SOPs you've completed.
Sorry you aren't getting training! This is what the open door policy is for - if you do not feel like you are getting adequate training and are not being allowed to look up SOPs or come up with a plan, you should first speak to your assistant. If that doesn't seem to help, ask your store manager to schedule an open door meeting regarding your training and your assistant not giving you the support you need. Most of the time, it stops there, but if you still need help, ask your personnel coordinator to help you contact your market HRM.
